Jim Brick, CMC’s President and co-owner, who has been involved in the account recovery industry for 25 years, including owing a finance company for 4 years, works out of our Waukesha office and oversees all management and staff as well as the overall operations of the company, which include: licensing and administrative functions, collection protocol and collector performance, client care, technology initiatives and day-to-day operational functions. Jim has been a member of the Wisconsin Medical Credit Association’s Board of Directors as well as a 6 year board member of the Wisconsin Chapter of the Healthcare Financial Management Association.
Brian White, Vice President and co-owner, has worked out of our Waukesha office performing various functions since 2004, including business development, overseeing our sales and marketing staff, interacting with new clients and working closely with the collection team to ensure that the collection plan put in place for each customer is meeting or exceeding the established goals. Brian has two daughters playing for SC Waukesha Soccer Club and volunteers as an assistant coach as well as is involved in the club’s operations. He also is a CrossFit member and plays pick-up basketball on a regular basis.
Mark Herder, Vice President of Health Care Operations, has worked in revenue cycle leadership positions for over 25 years, both at provider organizations and also for a nationally recognized revenue cycle consulting firm. In Wisconsin, Mark worked as a lead revenue cycle associate at both Ministry Health Care and Wheaton Franciscan Healthcare. Mark served on the Wisconsin HFMA Board as a Director or Committee Chairman for over 10 years and served on several HFMA national revenue cycle committees. He is available to provide in-service training to all your revenue cycle associates, offering ideas to improve your revenue cycle initiatives using the lean six sigma approach to process improvement. In his spare time, Mark enjoys participating in and watching sports, especially the Green Bay Packers. Mark is a Wisconsin deer hunter, card player and beer drinker. Spending time with family at the cottage is his favorite activity.
Wendie Vogelman, Director of Operations, works in our Racine office and has been with the company for nearly 20 years. She is responsible for management of all revenue producing activities, ensuring quality control compliance, participation in the development of client strategies, case assignment, monitoring performance goals of collection supervisors and collectors and ensuring adherence to state and federal regulations.
Brian Lewandowski, Financial Director, has both a finance degree and BBA and has been with CMC since 2009, working out of our Waukesha office. Brian is our company accountant, oversees all accounts payable functions, processes payroll and prepares all our financial statements. In his free time, Brian enjoys camping in the north woods with his wife, grandchildren and family and his hobbies include landscaping, gardening and making wine.
Stephanie Brault, Collection Manager, oversees the collection staff and monitors daily collection activity, collector performance, and debtors’ disputes, and regularly reviews client requirements. Stephanie has an extensive background in customer service and understands third party insurance issues from the payer perspective, having worked as a subrogation representative prior to coming to CMC. The experience of dealing with difficult third party issues for an insurance company is beneficial for assisting with the denial issues your patients must combat as they try to resolve their unpaid bills.
